Marines with Combat Service Support Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force Information Group, line up behind a ballistic blanket before performing a simulated door breach at Camp Pendleton, Calif., Aug. 1, 2017. The Marines conducted the training to further develop their combat capabilities as part of the stand-up of the Marine Support Battalion. The mission of the new unit is to provide extensive logistical support to I MEF and I Marine Expeditionary Brigade command element, both in garrison and on deployment.
