1st Intelligence Battalion Surveys San Clemente Island landing zone



 

The Geodetic Survey Team, with 1st Intelligence Battalion, conducted an airfield survey of Naval Auxiliary Landing Field at San Clemente Island, Calif., Sept. 23 – Oct. 3. The survey provides the team an opportunity to enhance their skills and offers the airfield an accurate assessment of obstructions and elevations for incoming flights paths.

  Competition tests Marines physically, mentally

Fifteen Marine fireteams stood outside the combat operations center for 2nd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment shortly before sunrise.
