Veterans’ employment opportunities abound

There's hope for veterans struggling to find jobs - if you know what resources to use.

One great resource is H2H (Hero 2 Hired), an online resource with information on what civilian jobs best match your military background. It also provides information on where to find jobs near you that fit those qualifications, along with some exclusive job listings, at https://h2h.jobs/.

Another valuable resource is the Department of Veteran Affairs website, www.va.gov/jobs/. It contains links to job searching resources. A few of the featured opportunities on the website include federal jobs, internships and health-related jobs.

A local resource for job hunting is Westover's Airman and Family Readiness Center. They can assist in various ways such as building connections and signing you up for the Military Spouse Corporate Career Network, which gives 550 different employers access to your resume. For more information call the Airman and Family readiness at (413) 557-3024.
