Regional Command Southwest operations director for Afghan National Security Force development, Col. Michael Gann talks with Afghan National Army Col. Khalil Jamshidi during a September trip to Zaranj in Nimruz province, Afghanistan. Jamshidi is the provincial-level Operation Coordination Center director. Afghan Uniformed Police Col. Haji Mohamed Mussa Rassouli, the Nimruz provincial chief of police (far right), and an interpreter listen in. Marines from RC(SW) have visited ANSF in Zaranj monthly for the past seven months. They provide guidance, mentorship and essential equipment as the Afghans continue to develop their own security forces.::r::::n::::r::::n::::r::::n::
