The Expeditionary Operations Training Group trains and evaluates deploying Marine Expeditionary Units (MEU), and other designated forces, in select special individual and collective tasks, and evaluates their ability to conduct assigned mission essential tasks in order to prepare those forces to support the geographic combatant commanders.

1) Advisor Training Branch: Trains all of I MEF Combat Advisors and Units.

2) Amphibious Raids Branch: Provides instruction for company level and below on amphibious raids and other specialized skills.

3) Provides specialized skills training for MEU’s Maritime Raid Force (MRF) and Reconnaissance Marines. 

4) Develops, plans, and executes MEU and SPMAGTF Exercises.
