Lieutenant Colonel Raymond Takor enlisted in the Marine Corps in June 2003 as a Bulk Fuel Specialist. He graduated with a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from the University of Maryland College Park and was subsequently commissioned in May 2008.
His Fleet Marine Force Assignments include: (Jun 2009 – Jun 2012) Platoon Commander and Assistant S-6, 3d Marine Regiment, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii; (Dec 2009 – Jun 2011) Battalion S-6 Officer and Platoon Commander, 2d Battalion 3d Marine Regiment, Kaneohe Bay, Hawaii. While in 3d Marines, he deployed in support of Operation ENDURING FREEDOM 10.2; (Jun 2016 – Jun 2018) Company Commander and Assistant Operations Officer, Marine Wing Communications Squadron – 38; (Jun 2023 – Jun 2025) Assistant Chief of Staff G-6 and G-6 Operations Officer, Naval Amphibious Task Force 51/ 5th Marine Expeditionary Brigade in Manama, Bahrain supporting operations in the CENTCOM AoR.
