A Marine assigned to I Marine Expeditionary Force died as a result of injuries sustained in a tactical vehicle mishap during routine training here on Dec. 3. 

The incident occurred at approximately 1:45 p.m. local time.

The name of the deceased is being withheld until 24 hours after next of kin notification.

The cause of the incident is currently under investigation.
