Marine Corps Installations West and I Marine Expeditionary Force to Host 240th Annual Birthday Pageant
CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. - The Commanding Generals of Marine Corps Installations West and I Marine Expeditionary Force will host the 240th Annual Birthday Pageant at the Base Training Center on November 5, 2015 at 10:00 a.m.
The Birthday Pageant will be conducted in the highest tradition of Marine Corps ceremonial craft to provide a distinguished and memorable event marking the 240th Birthday of the Corps. This event serves as a tribute to all Marines and Sailors, past and present and is part of the Marine Corps' vibrant culture of tradition and heritage. The ceremony will consist of an
introduction to include Color Guard and invocation; a tribute to past and present Marines through a uniform pageant; a cake-cutting ceremony and a reading of the traditional Birthday message.
