Colonel Peter Baumgarten, the commanding officer, 1st Marine Regiment, and a native of El Paso, Texas, discusses the importance of the regiment’s 100th anniversary. Baumgarten also talks about the history of the regiment, including its involvement in wars, battles and well-known figures.
