MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – The Marine Corps Expeditionary Energy Office brought together industry representatives and Navy medical personnel during the annual Expeditionary Energy Concepts symposium hosted this year at Camp Pendleton May 3-5, 2016. During the event, industry representatives received direct feedback on developing technologies from Marines and sailors. Printing the Future: 1st Maintenance explores 3-D printing applications

The Marines of 1st Maintenance Battalion, Combat Logistics Regiment 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, demonstrated the potential of the expeditionary manufacturing facility and 3-D printing capabilities to the commanding generals and staff of I Marine Expeditionary Force and 1st MLG aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., April 5, 2016. Still in the testing phase with the printers, the battalion has already discovered endless possibilities as to how they can integrate the technology into their mission.
