U.S. Marine Corps Lance Cpl. Raymond Guerra, a motor transport operator with Combat Logistics Battalion 15, 1st Marine Logistics Group, shares why he enjoys participating in Los Angeles Fleet Week and what it means to serve, while participating in LA Fleet Week from Aug. 31 - Sept. 3, 2018. Guerra is a Los Angeles native and participates in the fleet week by sharing his experiences in the Marines Corps and what it means to be a part of the Logistics Combat Element. Los Angeles Fleet Week provides an opportunity for the Marine Corps and Navy to demonstrate the quality of personnel to the citizens of Los Angeles and surrounding areas. Through fleet weeks, the military gains the opportunity to educate area leaders and the general public about the Marine Corps and Navy.
