The full United Kingdom (UK) Carrier Strike Group (CSG) assembled at sea on 04 October, 2020. The (CSG) is led by Her Majesty's Ship Queen Elizabeth and includes flotilla of destroyers and frigates from the UK, the Netherlands, the USS The Sullivans, and 15 F-35B Lightning II's from Marine Fighter Attack Squadron 211 and the UK's 617 Squadron. The ability to rapidly deploy from ship-to-shore, support ground forces with organic fire support and arm and refuel at temporary sites is unmatched. The unique capabilities of MAG-39's Venoms and Vipers provide Joint-force commanders an invaluable asset in a maritime contested and distributed environment.

Exercise Venom Storm demonstrated the Venom’s versatility in providing lethal options, whether operating from the sea or land. Its ability to rapidly deploy from ship-to-shore, support ground forces with its own organic fire support and be armed and refueled at temporary sites is exceptional.
