Tyler Ostholthoff, assistant intelligence officer with 1st Battalion, 5th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force—Darwin to lead a group of Marines to mentor and educate local soccer players about what it takes to play at the college level in the United States, here, May 20, 2014. The Marines who participate are prior, elite soccer players that can speak about college athletics and education in the United States. Marine community engagements in the Northern Territory add depth to the U.S. relationship with Australia beyond purely military training.
