Reserve Marines from 4th Tank Battalion, 4th Marine Division, conducted a battalion-level Fire Support Coordination Exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 14-24, 2015. Training included live-fire exercises, simulated medical evacuation operations and the ability to incorporate artillery capabilities.

Marines with Company A, 1st Tank Battalion, conduct attacks against mock enemy positions during Exercise Desert Scimitar 2015. The training gave Marines the opportunity to refine and rehearse essential combat skills needed in a battlefield environment. The exercise focused on conventional operations and provided realistic training that prepared Marines for overseas operations.
