MARINE CORPS AIR STATION MIRAMAR, Calif., (Aug. 16, 2016) Marines with Security Forces Platoon, I Marine Expeditionary Force Headquarters Group (I MHG), execute a mass-casualty drill during I Marine Expeditionary Force Large Scale Exercise. The priority of the platoon was to secure the perimeter and transport the casualties to the first aid station to get medically treated by hospital corpsmen. Large Scale Exercise 2016 (LSE-16) simulates the planning, deployment and combat operations of a Marine Expeditionary Force level composed of more than 50,000 members and a partner country, while working with coalition forces. MARINE CORPS BASE CAMP PENDLETON, Calif. – Marines with Company K, 3rd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, conduct squad attack drills at Camp Pendleton April 19, 2016. Marines were recognized at an Arizona State University football game against the Southern Methodist University during Marine Week Phoenix, Sept.12, 2015. The Marine Corps' Silent Drill Platoon demonstrated the corps' tradition of close order drill during the half-time show to showcase their unique discipline and professionalism.

Marine Week Phoenix kicks off with a ceremony at Civic Space Park in downtown Phoenix. The event included performances by the Silent Drill Platoon, Marine Band San Diego and martial arts instructors from the Marine Corps's Martial Arts Center of Excellence.
