Comprised of Marines from I Marine Expeditionary Force, the Georgia Liaison Team recently returned home from deployment where they advised and assisted to enhance the readiness and institutional capacity of Georgia’s armed forces. – here is a look at what they accomplished.

Marines with 2nd Battalion, 1st Marine Regiment, host a Jane Wayne Day at Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 28, 2016. Throughout the day, spouses experienced different training events such as firing live rounds from M16A4 service rifles and participating in a combat fitness test. The unit is preparing to deploy with the 13th Marine Expeditionary Unit in the spring of 2016.
