Marines with Company B, 1st Combat Engineer Battalion, 1st Marine Division, I Marine Expeditionary Force, participated in Urban Mobile Breaching aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Oct. 7-8. The training focused on preparing the Marines to breach and clear rooms when attached to an infantry unit.

U.S. Marines and British Commandos participated in MOUT training during Exercise Burmese Chase aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, California. The exercise focuses on interoperability between the two forces.

Marines with 2nd Brigade Platoon, 1st Air Naval Gunfire Liaison Company, I Marine Expeditionary Force, conducted a force-on-force training exercise aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., July 14, 2015. The training event aimed to enhance ANGLICO’s capabilities in urban environments, while conducting a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel mission by integrating close air support assets, joint terminal attack controllers and joint fire observers development.

Timor-Leste Defense Force members and a platoon of U.S. Marines with Company A, 1st Battalion, 4th Marine Regiment, Marine Rotational Force – Darwin, participated in Exercise Koa Moana 15.2 in Dili, Timor-Leste June 22 -26. The platoon of Marines conducted a bilateral exercise with one platoon of the Timor-Leste Defense Force’s land component of the naval force and one platoon of their Marines. The bilateral training included fundamentals of squad and platoon level tasks. During the exercise, Marines also engaged with in several community relations opportunities. Marines with 3rd Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, 1st Marine Division, conduct a crisis response exercise without the use of lethal force aboard Camp Pendleton, Calif., Jan. 7, 2014.
