The 11th Marine Expeditionary Unit (MEU) welcomes Marines and Sailors from Battalion Landing Team 1/1, Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 165 (Reinforced) and Combat Logistics Battalion 11 to the unit, following composite Nov. 30, 2020. The 11th MEU is a forward-deployed, flexible sea-based Marine air-ground task force capable of conducting various amphibious operations and crisis response in order to support the theater requirements of geographic combatant commanders.
