Brooks Boehlert, the Headquarters and Service Company commander with 2nd Battalion, 9th Marine Regiment, and native of Siletz, Ore., discusses his role in Operation Psarlay Taba, a partnered counternarcotics operation in the Bari Desert with the Afghan National Interdiction Unit. Boehlert served as the battalion’s raid force commander throughout the operation.
