First WTI Course of 2015 Kicks Off at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma

The newest group of students and instructors for Weapons and Tactics Instructor Course 2-15 just arrived at Marine Corps Air Station Yuma, Sunday, to begin the seven-week course.

Hosted by Marine Aviation Weapons and Tactics Squadron One, the WTI class will be the largest class to graduate from MAWTS-1. Students will learn and apply the latest in air-to-air combat, air-to-ground communications and Humanitarian Assistance and Disaster Relief tactics.

Highlights of WTI will include a scenario-based, Non-Combatant Evacuation Operation and multiple large-scale, combined arms exercises.
