Corporal Timothy Stark, a squad leader with Weapon’s Company, 1st Battalion, 6th Marine Regiment meets with a farmer and his family in order to verify whether or not he’s successfully changed his crop from poppy, Marjah, Afghanistan, April 23. While out on patrol Marine and Afghan forces with 1/6 met with local farmers and landowners who are participating in the Marjah Accelerated Agricultural Transition program.
