The National Fatherhood Initiative selected Navy Lt. Dennis Kelly, the chaplain of 1st Radio Battalion and 1st Intelligence Battalion, Camp Pendleton, Calif., as one of three finalists for the Military Fatherhood Award. All contestants submitted an essay on fatherhood. Three participants were chosen as finalists. Kelly is known for his advice and mentorship. He helps Marines and sailors seeking spiritual, marital and parenting guidance. Voting will take place on the program’s Facebook page beginning April 23.
