Navy Capt. Dan Cornwell, incoming commanding officer of Field Medical Training Battalion West, hands the colors to Master Chief Petty Officer Harlan B. Patawaran, command master chief of FMTB-West, during a change of command ceremony at Camp Pendleton, June 7. Cornwell relieved Navy Capt. Michael Eby, as the commanding officer of FMTB-West. Eby passed on FMTB-West's guidon to Cornwell signifying his relinquishing of command and Cornwell's new responsibilities.
