Jonathon Taylor, counter improvised explosive device instructor, shows Marines and sailors a type of IED and its different components during the counter IED class given as part of the Predeployment Training Program. The counter IED instructors taught inside the classroom for a portion of their class and then took the Marines and sailors outside to show them certain indicators and where to look for IEDs while in Afghanistan.
