Patrick Coghlan, an intern with the scouting team for the San Diego Padres, tosses a baseball to the son of a servicemember during a Military Kids Baseball Clinic July 2, 2015, in San Diego. Among the children who participated in the event, 50 were dependents of Marines and Sailors currently serving in I Marine Expeditionary Force. The day at the ballpark included batting, pitching and out-fielding drills. The event has taken place three years in a row and is sponsored by the United Services Automobile Association.
