A former U.S. Navy Corpsman presents the first piece of cake to the youngest Corpsman during a cake-cutting ceremony while celebrating the 65th anniversary of Field Medical Training Battalion West, aboard Marine Corps Base Camp Pendleton, Calif., Sept. 18, 2015. FMTB-West opened its doors in the fall of 1950 and has trained young Sailors on life-saving techniques utilized on battlefields throughout history.
