U.S. Soldiers with Task Force Al Taqaddum move concrete barriers to reinforce the living areas at Al Taqaddum Air Base, Iraq, Aug. 19, 2015. The team of soldiers worked quickly and effectively to provide safe structures for the personnel of Task Force Al Taqaddum. Coalition personnel reestablished a presence there in June 2015 to advise and assist the Iraqi security forces. By pairing experienced personnel with their Iraqi counterparts, coalition forces can provide intelligence, logistics and operations planning support to ultimately enable the Iraqi security forces to defeat the Islamic State of Iraq and the Levant.
