U.S. Marines with Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, assist a simulated casualty to an MV-22B Osprey tiltrotor aircraft during casualty evacuation drills as part of a training exercise while forward deployed in the Middle East, Jan. 30, 2017. This sustainment training ensures the MAGTF is trained in mission essential tasks and is able to respond effectively to possible crises throughout USCENTCOM, and serves as an opportunity to increase proficiency and readiness within the SPMAGTF. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a well-trained crisis response unit that has the ability to project combat power over vast distances using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
