A division of U.S. Marine Corps KC-130J Super Hercules assigned to Marine Aerial Refueler Transport Squadron and an MV-22 Osprey tiltrotor aircraft with Marine Medium Tiltrotor Squadron 364, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, return from a tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel exercise in Jordan, May 8 2017. This event supported Eager Lion 2017, a recurring multinational exercise designed to strengthen military-to-military relationships, increase interoperability between partner nations, and enhance regional security and stability. The SPMAGTF is a self-sustaining expeditionary unit, designed to provide a broad range of crisis response capabilities throughout the Central Command area of responsibility, using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
