U.S. Marines with 1st Battalion, 7th Marine Regiment, Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command, standby for a night battle sight zero range in the Middle East, July 5, 2017. The training checks the accuracy of the weapon’s sight alignment and ensures SPMAGTF Marines are prepared to react and respond to a variety of scenarios that may play out across the USCENTCOM area of operations. SPMAGTF-CR-CC is a well-trained crisis response unit that has the ability to project combat power over vast distances using organic aviation, logistical, and ground combat assets.
