U.S. Army Lt. Gen. Stephen Townsend, the commanding general of Combined Joint Task Force-Operation Inherent Resolve, speaks with U.S. Marine Corps Col. Bill Vivian, the commanding officer of Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force-Crisis Response-Central Command in the Middle East, July 6, 2017. During his visit, Townsend spoke with SPMAGTF-CR-CC Marines about the importance of tactical recovery of aircraft and personnel missions and recognized Marines for excellence. SPMAGTF-CR-CC continues its commitment to support Operation Inherent Resolve and USCENTCOM by providing a range of crisis response capabilities.
