U.S. Marine Lt. Gen. William D Beydler, commander, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command, and Sgt. Maj. William T. Thurber, U.S. Marine Corps Forces Central Command sergeant major, inspect 3D-printed pieces of the Nibbler drone while getting briefed on the capabilities of the Special Purpose Marine Air-Ground Task Force – Crisis Response – Central Command 17.2’s Puller 3D Printing Lab in the Middle East Oct. 16, 2017. The “Puller Lab” can print low-cost drones that can be used by the SPMAGTF for a variety of mission enhancing tasks. Beydler and Thurber visited the Marines to listen to their questions, share his guidance and discuss their daily operations.
