U.S Marine Col. Stuart Glenn, 1st Light Armour Reconnaissance Battalion (LAR), 1st Marine Division, meets with Republic of Korea (ROK) Navy Captain, Kim Kyung-ho, commander of the ROK Navy Cobra Gold Exercise Squadron, during a live-fire short bay range at Thai Reconnaissance Battalion, Sattahip, Thailand, Feb. 28. Cobra Gold is the largest joint exercise in mainland Asia taking place from Feb. 26 – Mar. 8, 2025. Cobra Gold highlights the strong partnership between Thailand and the United States while strengthening interoperability and enhancing readiness through field exercises, disaster simulations and humanitarian projects with allied and partnered nations and civilian agencies.
